# IP Addresses

IP Address assets (IPs) include IPs that are identified as being owned or leased by your organization or a subsidiary. They are discovered primarily through Regional Internet Registries and are commonly discovered by identifying subsidiaries of your organization and their owned IP ranges.

If you have domains that are hosted on infrastructure you do not control, those IP addresses will not show up as IP Address assets. This is addressed in the Network Analysis section of the Domains page.

# Accessing the IPs Page

The IPs page can be accessed from the following locations in ASM:

  • Attack Surface Dashboard -> Live IPs
  • Assets -> IP Addresses
  • Exposures -> IP Addresses

# Filter IPs and View CVEs

  1. On the IPs page, select any filter criteria from the filter drop-down list to view the IPs of interest.

  1. Select the View Details icon to display the IP Address details page to view vulnerability history, associated ports and/or CVEs, and the discovery chain for the IP address.

Here you can:

  • Search and filter the CVEs for the IP address
  • Display the CVEs in an explore or table format
  • Export the CVEs in a CSV format
  • View the CVSS and EPSS* scores for the CVE along with the CVE's publish and last modified date
  • Select the linked CVE name to open a browser tab to the NIST website with full details for the CVE

* See EPSS at https://www.first.org/epss.
