# History

The history graph helps you understand how your attack surface has changed over time. It can be accessed in Assets > Domains or IP Addresses by clicking on the graph navigation icon.

The graph in the example below displays counts of live domains by day. Beneath it you will find all the domains which either became live or went offline by the end of the displayed range—this includes domains that were updated or newly created. Each domain also shows an individual timeline of its status.

To select a new time range, simply click and drag within the graph. You can also do basic keyword searches on the listed domains by using the overhead search bar. Click on any of the results to navigate to their full detaills page.
